Our Emergency Assistance offers rental assistance in eviction and/or foreclosure cases, and prescription drugs assistance -- all of which are subject to funds availability.

We receive assistance from FEMA (Federal Emergency Food and Shelter Program) to provide rental support in Montgomery County, based upon specified ZIP codes.

Prince George's County Department of Social Services Emergency Food Program provides food assistance for Prince George's County residents.

The cost of living in the Washington Metropolitan area is very high, so we provide food assistance only to those who are eligible. Maryland's DHR and MEFP grants enable us to enhance food distribution in Prince George's County and the other areas we serve.

We also provide clothes, coats and shoes in good condition from our clothing reserves.
